 MOSS AGATE: is best known for its mottled moss or leaf-like inclusions within a translucent to clear background. While sharing the same mineral composition as Agate, it is found in fissures or as pebbles rather than in a layered or geode form like most Agates.  

Moss Agate is often referred to as the "Gardener's Stone" and is said to be helpful to farmers in ensuring a good crop by way of encouraging rain, abundance, the fertility of plants, the protection of the earth, and helping one to better communicate with animals and plants.
