 BRECCIATED JASPER: is just one of the many varieties of Jasper; a fine grained opaque crypto-crystalline type of Quartz (called Chalcedony) that forms in a multitude of varying colors and patterns. Found worldwide, Jasper often contains organic material and mineral oxides which give it interesting patterns, bands and colors. Brecciated Jasper is best recognized by its spotted and swirled blends of black, rich browns, brick reds, and creams.
