Bugle Beads Glass tube shaped seed beads, packaged by weight and/or quantity. There is no size consistency between manufacturers so beads are measured based on length and are categorized according to size and color. Toho®, Miyuki® and Mill Hill® bugles are the most uniform in size and color, followed by Czech Preciosa®, while Matsuno Dyna-Mites® and Ming Tree® (in that order) are economy bugles and are the least uniform. The majority of our bugle beads are from old stock (prior to 1995) and can not be reordered. Quantities are extremely limited. Refer to our BUGLE BEAD COLOR CHART to see all our sizes and colors at a glance, or narrow your search with the links provided below. MICRO & MACO: bugle beads are extra thin, approximately 1mm in diameter, and look best with size 13/0 or smaller THIN: Standard sized bugle beads are thin, approximately 1.5mm to 2.5mm (1/16") in diameter, and look best with size 11/0 beads or smaller. These thick retro beads have been discontinued and are no longer being produced. HEX CUT: bugle beads have six sides for added sparkle under the light.
