10mm, light weight, heart shaped beads measuring approximately 4mm thick with a brushed textured surface. Copper base metal is plated in a durable gold anti-tarnish finish that allows the plating to last longer. Holes are drilled from top to bottom. One, 8-inch strand contains 22 beads.

Gold-Plated refers to a process whereby a thin molecule of gold layering is applied by electroplating to a metal alloy or other material base. Although the surface coating is not as durable or permanent as Gold-Filled, and has a tendency to wear off in time, it provides an economical alternative to more expensive precious metals.
