PERSONAL BOUNDARIES , SELF-PROTECTION & AWARENESS
ARMADILLO is passive and non-aggressive. He carries his armor on his back as he moves about his world. He’ll curl into a tight ball to protect is softer side whenever he feels vulnerable or threatened. From Armadillo, we learn the importance of self-protection and establishing our own personal boundaries whether they be physical or emotional. Yet we must also be careful not to become so locked up within our hard, outer shells that we shut down emotionally and become paranoid of those around us.
Armadillo is a solitary loner and does not make many friends as he lumbers along minding his own business in pursuit of his daily tasks. Through Armadillo we are reminded not to be negligent of what's happening around us or become so distracted by our own self-interests that we either avoid or fail to take notice of the issues and problems that may be sneaking up behind us
